Volunteer or Donate

VA Puget Sound depends on the goodwill of our benefactors and volunteers who wish to give something back to America's heroes.

Volunteer

Volunteers serve in many ways throughout VA Puget Sound and help make our patients' stay more enjoyable. We always strive to match a volunteer's interests and talents with one of our many needs in the form of volunteer assignments.

To volunteer, please email us at pugvoluntarysvc@va.gov.  Tell us a little about why you’d like to volunteer at VA Puget Sound, along with which of our campus locations works best for you (American Lake, Seattle, etc.).  We will then ‘reply’ to your inquiry with our application form (let us know if you are under 18 years of age) and more specific information about current volunteer assignment openings.

Donate

VA Puget Sound accepts both monetary and in-kind contributions to make our patients’ stay more comfortable and enjoyable.  Donations support a variety of therapeutic recreational activities.  They also provide personal care and comfort items for Veterans in need.  There are many opportunities to give – big or small, each donation makes a significant and lasting difference.

For a listing of current donation opportunities, or to make a donation, please contact the Voluntary Service office at VA Puget Sound.

Wall of Heroes

The Wall of Heroes recognizes Veterans who have served their country in wartime and have been personally decorated for heroism, bravery or valor. Our office inducts new members of this monument every year on Veterans Day. Learn more here.
