Caregiver Support

VA Puget Sound offers assistance to caregivers. Caregivers provide a valuable service for Veterans and are "partners" with VA in providing excellent health care. By allowing Veterans to remain in their own home, caregivers play an important role in supporting Veterans.

Decedent Affairs

The VA Puget Sound Health Care System Decedent Affairs Office provides guidance and information regarding VA Burial Benefits for eligible Veterans and their families. The officealso works closely with the Social Work and Pathology Services, regarding after-life issues, and is tasked with locating existing family for our Veterans who have not listed next-of-kin or emergency contacts. Diagnostic Imaging

Emergency and Urgent Care Services

The Seattle Division has a 24-hour emergency room available for patients who need immediate care. You can find out more about the emergency room construction project here. Epilepsy Center of Excellence

We function as a center of excellence in research, education and clinical care activities in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy.

Healthy Living Classes

Classes focused on tobacco cessation, stress management, healthy eating and dieting, living well with chronic conditions, sleep improvement, and diabetes management are available to Veterans free of charge. Click here for more information.

We function as a center of excellence in research, education and clinical care activities in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis. 

Pharmacy
