About Women's Mental Health Services
Services address the psychological, mental and behavioral needs of women Veterans and are integrated into primary health services in the Women’s Health Clinic and offered in several specialty mental health clinics.
Services Offered
This includes assistance with behavioral, social or psychological problems affecting patients’ health such as:
• anxiety problems
• assistance with sorting out psychosocial treatment needs
• problems managing chronic conditions, including chronic pain
stress-related illness
• recovery from trauma
• quitting smoking
• use of alcohol or other substances
• weight control

Support Groups
Seattle: Support groups address chronic health problems, transgendered women, coping skills and continuing care. For more information, please call (206) 277-3027. American Lake: Support groups include a weekly “seeking safety” group, a 12-week Women’s Empowerment group, and Women’s Emotion Regulation group. For more information, call (253) 583-1668.
